Patrick Murray

I am a three-time Emmy nominated sportscaster with nine years of on-air experience. I’m currently living in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and working as a freelance college football analyst calling Conference USA games on Stadium and ESPN+. I contribute NFL Draft prospect breakdowns for Harris Football and also do play-by-play and analysis for FIU basketball and baseball on ESPN+ and CUSA.tv.

Previously, I worked for nine years at WBIR-TV, the NBC affiliate in Knoxville, Tennessee where I covered SEC football. My ambition, drive and passion for sports pushed me to work my way up from intern to production assistant, news photographer, sports reporter and finally Sports Anchor/Executive Producer at WBIR. I developed a passion for football analysis, earning two regional Emmy Award nominations for my “Film Study” series breaking down the X’s and O’s of Tennessee football.

During my career in TV, I’ve had the privilege to cover the men’s and women’s NCAA tournaments, 50+ SEC football games, the Stanley Cup Final, bowl games, a game-winning Hail Mary and the craziest coaching search in college football history.

My love for sports started on the fields of Oakland Park, Florida where I played as a kid and in the stands at Miami Arena, Hard Rock Stadium and BB&T Center, watching games with my dad.
